Award flights in OrientME

Not currently available

Award flights is not currently available in OrientME. We're researching viable data partners to power award availability and intend to bring this feature back once the right partnership is in place. The rest of this page describes how the feature is designed to work.

Award flights watches award availability — the seats you can book with points and miles — across many airline loyalty programs at once. It's the companion to the Flight Tracker: that one watches cash fares, this one watches award space. When it's live you'll find it under Travel → Flights → Award.

The Award tab with a couple of saved award watches

Create a watch

Open the Award tab and add a watch:

FieldNotes
From (required)One or more origin airport codes, e.g. JFK, EWR
To (required)One or more destination codes, e.g. LHR
LabelA friendly name like “Honeymoon in business”
CabinEconomy, Premium, Business, or First
Target date (required)The date you'd ideally fly
± daysHow many days either side of the target to search (e.g. ±3)
Max milesHide options that cost more than this many points
Max taxesHide options whose cash taxes/fees are above this
Max stops0 for nonstop only
ProgramsLimit to specific loyalty programs (e.g. Aeroplan, Flying Blue)
AirlinesLimit to specific operating airlines
Sort byRank results by miles, taxes, or trip duration

Entering several From or To airports widens the search across a whole city or region in one watch. From, To, and a target date are all you strictly need; everything else narrows the field.

Search now, before you save

Not sure a route has any award space? Click Search now in the form to run a one-off search without saving a watch. You get the same ranked table you'd see on a saved watch, so you can sanity-check the route and tune your filters first.

Refresh and read the results

Click a watch's Refresh to check current availability. OrientME searches your date window across the programs you allowed and shows a ranked table of real trips — miles, cash taxes, total duration, stops, and which program has the cheapest space. The summary keeps the best miles/taxes/duration and how many trips were found, so a glance tells you whether it's worth a closer look. Results persist between visits, so you can compare against the last time you checked.

Open a result for the details

Click a row to expand the full itinerary: each flight's number, times, and aircraft, plus booking links that take you to the loyalty program to lock it in. These details load when you open the row, so the main table stays fast.

tip

Award space is volatile — a great option can vanish in hours. Set a tight Max miles and Max taxes so a refresh surfaces only the deals actually worth booking, then jump on them.

Manage watches

Each watch can be refreshed, edited, or deleted at any time, and paused by toggling it inactive when you've booked or the trip is off. Deleting a watch clears its saved results too.

note

Award flights is a personal feature, like the rest of Travel. Found the flight you want? Once it's booked, add it to a trip under Logistics to keep it with the rest of your itinerary.

tip

On the go? Award flights is designed to work on the mobile app too — the Travel → Flights screen has an Award (miles) tab to create watches, refresh them, and tap a result through to book. It returns alongside the web feature once a data partner is in place.
